These SMS Terms apply to text messages sent by Virus Watcher, Inc. ("Virus Watcher," "we," "us") to users who opt in to receive SMS or WhatsApp notifications through our website or mobile application.
You consent to receive text messages from Virus Watcher by entering your mobile phone number and selecting SMS or WhatsApp as a notification channel on any Virus Watcher form (including the watch creation page, family watch invites, and in-app settings). Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
By opting in you may receive:
Message frequency varies based on disease activity in your watched locations. During periods of elevated outbreak activity you may receive more messages; during quiet periods you may receive none. Alert messages are limited to a maximum of 3 per day per user. One-time welcome messages are sent when you first create a watch.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier messaging rates apply to all SMS messages received. Virus Watcher does not charge separately for SMS. Contact your wireless carrier for details on your plan's messaging rates.
Reply STOP to any Virus Watcher text message to unsubscribe and stop receiving further messages. You will receive one final confirmation message. To re-subscribe, reply START or re-enter your phone number on any Virus Watcher form.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to network availability and carrier limitations outside our control.
SMS service is available on all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and regional carriers. WhatsApp messaging is available internationally through supported mobile devices.
Your phone number will never be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It is used solely to deliver the alert and notification services you opted into. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via text message or email before they take effect. Continued use of SMS notifications after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
